Title: printing type question
Post by: quarterstaff on October 07, 2018, 06:47:53 PM
Hello,
I am wondering if old printing type is useful for bullet casting? I ask because I have some and don't want to throw it away if it can be used and as I don't cast bullets I don't need it. is there any value to it? I am not trying to get rich but trade bait is trade bait.

Thanks

Yes, it's useful to mix with pure lead to create the desired alloy. It helps a lot to know what kind of type metal it is (Linotype, Monotype, etc).
