Title: Took my daughter with me this evening
Post by: buglebuster on October 10, 2018, 07:04:09 PM: Little Rylee has been bugging me to go quail hunting, so I finally took her. It was a bit frustrating at times since she’s only 5, but we had a blast! Fun time with my little girl. We ended up 1 short of a limit but we lost one in some thick brush.

The only thing better is when they are older and finally get to hunt/harvest their own animals or birds.

I'd be happy never killing another deer if I could be there when my son shoots his every year :tup:

Post by: CoryTDF on October 11, 2018, 02:13:48 PM: I used to put my girls in my backpack and walk them with me on pheasant hunts. Did that until they were about 5 or so. They loved it and it was a great way to get them introduced to hunting. Good on you! Start them young and you will have a hunting partner for life!
