:yeah: I watched two bulls getting after it some years back from about 30 yards, there is no way to accurately describe the sound and fury.
-
Cool! that is something I have always wanted to see.
-
Two herd bulls really going at it is something to behold. Even the area afterward. Ive seen a fight ring that looked like the outside was burmed up with a cat.
I recall showing Idabooner one, and along side of it was a huge pumpkin pine. In it was a tine shoved into the treeabout 6-7 inches and broke off. Can you imgine the force necessary to shove a tine into a tree that far and then break it off?
-
I have an idea ;)
-
So impressive that deer and elk will fight hard enough to break their beams.

The antler my buddy is holding in that pic didn't break off at the base, it has skull and hair attached to it. :o

Yeah I remember that story when you posted it. Kind of surprised it doesn’t happen more often based on height of elk pedicles

Woodchuck
I remember meeting you right after those pics that day!

That was quite the day for sure, I am guessing I acted like I had just drank 15 red bulls. :chuckle:

Well maybe 4? :chuckle: :chuckle:
