Title: Help with new reel
Post by: Commando on October 15, 2018, 12:47:22 PM: Well my reel finally died on me after 13 years of faithful service. So I’m in need of a new reel. I’ve got it narrowed down to the okuma Citrix or the pfluger supreme lpx. I can’t decide which one to get. The pfluger is 100 and the okuma is 120. This is gonna be a silver and steelhead reel. Or should I shell out the extra dough for the shimano citica? Thanks guys

Post by: Mfowl on October 15, 2018, 11:06:21 PM: I'll toss out the Abu Garcia Revo. There is a wide range of options and prices on this line. I have enjoyed using a coiple of them over the years. I also like the Pflueger I have though I don't do much bass fishing anymore and haven't used it for a while.

It wasn’t on the list cause of the price but after the recommendation here and doing some looking online and going in to the store messing with them I decided it was worth the couple extra dollars. Plus I found a coupon :IBCOOL: I can’t wait to get it. Should be getting it on Friday.
