Is there any decent deer hunting around the tri citys i have lived here my whole life but never hunted close to here and know i have free time after work but not enough to drive out to the blue mountains or Ellensburg where i usually hunt at.

There is really good deer hunting all around the tri cities. Mostly private property but a surprising amount of private land access opportunities. WDFW has all the access points listed on the website. Head east or north 30 miles into the kahlotus unit and you will run into deer.

There's a few deer south of town too. Most of the Easterday ground is register to hunt I think, and there's a ton of public stuff along the river south of Finley if you don't mind hiking.

:yeah: What they said, also rattlesnake area over by the shooting range I've seen a few deer in there never during season though. or towards walla walla there is some ffh land, guess it depends on what part of town your in as to where is closest for you.
