Title: Lost a wallet in 113
Post by: RugerRay on October 22, 2018, 03:49:45 PM
I know this is a long shot, but I'm hoping someone might stumble upon my girlfriend's wallet that she lost while we were out deer hunting on Saturday 10/20. We scoured the two areas all day on Sunday, but couldn't find it. We were up on Harvey Creek to the top of Monumental, as well as South Baldy. Thank you in advance.

Bump!

Keep the faith!

I lost a wallet when I was 14 years old.  A hunter found it years latter and mailed it back.  Still had money, my license, and special permit in it.  He never left his full name or info.  I never was able to thank him.

@300rum It's always great to hear stories like that, and reassures how strong the hunting community is.

Digging for goeducks on a super low tide I found a wallet stuck in the mud. Creditcards, money, drivers lisence. The identification was pretty bad shape from a long time of immersion. I took it to the local cop shop and asked if they could track down the owner. They took it, gave me a receipt and that was the last I heard about it.... until several years later I got a call from the cops saying they never got a response so I could reclaim it. There was about $40 so, what the hey, thats beer money right?
