Title: Anyone with a hog hunt they could recomend?
Post by: Goshawk on October 25, 2018, 10:04:38 PM: Before too long, I'd like to do some hunting that I've never done before. Of course budget is the big equalizer of my hunting dreams. So rather than big bears or mule deer, I've been wondering about a hog hunt in the near future.

Any of you folks ever go on a hog hunt where you left it thinking "Now that was Fun!" and you could recommend?

I'm not sure. I'm willing to save a year or two for it so that depends on the hunt. $3,000 would be doable without too long a wait.

Was this a free range operation? And how was the meat?

They offer hog hunts as well and we threw one onto our turkey hunt. Got 2 in the 50 pound range on a real quick last minute hunt. I know the get big ones also.
