Title: Wyoming antelope 2018 photos
Post by: Bob33 on November 03, 2018, 02:13:01 PM: For many years I’ve hunted antelope in Wyoming. I used to go to Wyoming to hunt antelope; the last few years it’s probably more accurate to say I hunt antelope as an excuse to go to Wyoming.

I find pronghorn antelope to be a most fascinating animal to observer, photograph, and hunt. We also find antelope meat to be the best of all wild game I’ve hunted.

Every year brings new sites and experiences, as well as memories of previous visits.

I use Nikon gear. A D7100 and D800e bodies. Lenses primarily were 50mm, 70-200 2.8 and 300 2.8.

Many of those could have been taken in N. Central Montana where I grew up. Especially the one of trailing sheep. We moved several large bands from the valley to summer range and back just that way......on foot and horse back

I go with four doe/fawn licenses and sometimes with a 5th for a buck.

We drew unit 34 mulies this year but I was amazed at how many nice antelope we seen in #73 and #75. Killed antelope in #80 and #32. Use to be much easier to draw, now units that took 3pts are up around 6-7.
