I decided to upgrade the photoshop thing to the online version. Photoshop CS5 wouldn’t download my camera so I always had to run them through a digital negative converter and I’m sure that was degrading my images. I’m sitting here with 160 GB of big buck pics, and I’ve got some BIG bucks....and waiting for the download.

Well that Bytes ;)

Photo tease.😤

I am still running Lightroom 6, because I refuse to go to their subscription service.

SAME! (photoshop though), I didnt need the fancy stuff. but it wouldnt download raw for my camera any longer, too new of a body, so I was doing the Digital negative converter. Now I see just how much my images were being affected by it. I guess ultimately it costs about the same. Still dont plan to use the cloud

Which body did you get?
I have been eyeballing some of the Mirror-less options, but it is hard to pull the trigger!

Shooting with a 7D mark II

I didn't want to do the subscription either. I am sure I am missing some neat features, but ignorance is bliss.

The only thing that really changed was more money coming out of my pocket, and the ability to get photos without using the digital converter. This winter I’ll experiment with Lightroom.

You won't be disappointed if you do switch.

I'm betting lightroom will do about everything you want...I have Lightroom 7 on my Mac and a subscription to the CC, which so far, all I use it for is the mobile ap for my phone when I am away from my Mac...

I think the thing I'm starting to like more about it is the photo merge. Easy Peasy. Seven photo merge from yesterday.
Only bad thing about this is it's not my shop :chuckle:
Click on photo and it should enlarge. Hopefully :)
