Title: Firearm Regs on the Toandos Pennisula
Post by: JR825 on November 09, 2018, 09:56:50 AM
Hey all,

I am planning on hunting over there next week and understand there are some pretty strict firearm regs in that area. I understand that there is some standoff area across from Bangor (used to work there) that is off limits, but what about the rest of the timbered area? Is it posted and easy to navigate? I might drive up there this weekend for a scout, but wanted to check here first. Thanks in advance.

Orm.com, pope resource has map for there area. It’s walk-in only. Check Jefferson county refs for firearm restriction. I can’t think of any on the peninsula outside the standoff area.

The no shooting zone starts around gonna beach rd.  And continues all the way to the end of the peninsula
