what type of bugle tube works best for you guys? :dunno: I am looking into getting one but don't know what type to get.
-
Assume you’re talking grunt tube (non internal reed tube). Hands down for sound quality and compact enough to carry in the elk woods, Elknut’s Chuckler
-
buglingbulls is my favorite tube maker.

I bought the Phelps small tube and used it a lot this year, super easy to pack and sounds great.

A Large juice bottle attached to a chunk of a paint roll with some duct tape and fabric thrown in there. Its smaller than a wiffle ball bat which makes carrying it nice.
Why spend money when you can make something for free and experiment with different options.

Phelps has been awesome for me. Have been using the standard but will try the smaller tube.

Phelps ftw. Supporting local businesses is always a plus too
