Title: Quiet stalking pants
Post by: ljsommer on November 15, 2018, 09:11:09 AM: I was looking at Kryptek gear and wondering if anyone has any suggestions for quiet pants. I understand there's always a tradeoff between quiet, water-resistant and tough, but hoping someone has a good suggestion. Current hunting pants are Cabela's and fantastic but a bit baggy and noisy, looking for something slightly less baggy and slightly quieter.

They are very quiet, they are warm even when damp, and you can buy military surplus very affordably or you can go fancier with woolrich or something like that. If wool bothers you, wear long underwear.

Yep wool super quiet only down side if it gets super wet it gets super heavy..

Post by: Dwrecknfish on November 16, 2018, 04:32:20 PM: I just purchased some SKRE hardscrabble pants and have been very happy with them. they are quiet, water resistant (have only used them for a few days) have zippers to let air flow in. Only problem i have with these pants is the quad area is kind of tight but still so have enough room/flex to not have to worry about it too much
