Just wondering if anybody uses this scope and what your thoughts are?

I think with sigs new bdx system the Burris is all but obsolete. The Burris is just to big and bulky to be on anything other then a bench gun

Well this is kind of an old post but thought I could still give my feedback. I have the eliminator 3 on a Montana rifle co 7mm mag. The combination is a lot heavier than my tikka t3 but it is spot on. I think the scope weighs about 2 pounds so If you do start with a lightweight gun overall weight shouldn’t be a problem. My longest shot on game was my mule deer in Montana last year. Facing towards me at 452 yards wind at my back.  Ranged him, put the red dot on the center of his chest and watched him drop in the scope. Never had an issue in the rain or fog. If you can see through the scope the rangefinder is effective. i would say the biggest downfall is the number of states adding to the list you can’t use them in.
