Called this coyote in early afternoon with hand calls. I love hunting with a shotgun, but haven't really taken mine out this year. Well, today was the day !

 keep knocking them down

Good work!

What calls and how long if you don't mind sharing?
-
Nice and yes, let's hear whose calls you used.
-
Any normal howling and raspy calls would work fine regardless of the brand.
I use Woods Wise Screamin' Stinger call for coyote howling and barking.
Primos Third Degree Extra Cottontail for rabbit distress.
Howl a few times, do some barks for like 10 seconds, then blast the rabbit distress for about 20-30 secs with 1-2 min breaks...and keep doing the distress with barks mixed a little bit for like 45-60mins. At least that's what I do.

Very cool. Thank you for posting

@tiger1358: I too hunt primarily with shotgun. Here in Western WA, East Olympia area. Where are you at? (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181205/9dc267334d6f4bbe10ae6778b419aaf4.jpg)

I'm in Kirkland, I mainly hunt off hwy 2 or I-90. I usually hunt with a rifle, but once my deer or bear seasons are over, I switch to shotgun or 22 rifle.

Very nice!

Awesome! Kirkland is a bit far to travel for me (plus navigating through the I-5/I-405 mess) but if you’re headed down here at all I’d like to team up. Speaking of which, are you interested in a team for the Coyote Tournament?

For sure. Always wanted to check out the woods around Olympia but never happened.
I was thinking about joining the tournament, but don't think will have enough time to hunt them often.
