Title: Duck hunting near Shelton/Skokomish
Post by: Chesterdog on December 20, 2018, 02:44:41 PM
Anyone hunt the South Sound that may be able to give some advise?  I've got a field to hunt next weekend near the mouth of the Skokomish river and was curious how methy the area is.  I'm worried about the distance I have to park in proximity to my blind and not being able to hear my car alarm.  It's not worth the hunt to replace a smashed window.   Also curious if I can get the attention of a local who may be able to help navigate the Green Diamond owned land.  They have maps that show areas you can access without buying the pass, but I can't seem to find a way to get anywhere marshy that looks huntable on a map without getting blocked by a gate.  Thanks in-advance.

Sad to say the least. There’s a lot I don’t do because I don’t want my rig messed with.

Meth capital of Washington.
The area you plan to hunt is adjacent to a reservation. Leave your car unlocked and nothing in it. As far as Gren Diamomd land goes PM me I'm local.
