Im curious about it and if it pulls all in one direction or if it pulls in different directions based off of where you drop the 3 weights
I have looked everywhere for a setup diagram with no luck nor have a i found any videos
Hoping it can be setup facing different directions and all be pulled off of one string
I am getting awful tired of having a different string attached to all of my fingers and toes while trying to call and shoot. it can become quite difficult to hunt when you look like a marionette :dunno:
-
never used it but I run just a regular jerk cord with 4 decoys attached and it works well. Don't even need to use my toes :tup:
-
hahaha :chuckle:
I usualy have two pull string wing spinners and 2 pull string one on a straight line and one on a spreader as i like to have 1 pull string and 1 wing spinner on each side of spread
so i am trying to figure out a way to consolidade the two floating strings into 1

How do the birds react to having 2 spinners spread out? I hunt with one and am going to start using more. In my experience, the birds try to land close to wherever the spinner is (assuming the spinner is drawing birds as intended). Do they land on each side of the spread when you put the spinners our there?

most of my hunting over water is done from the shore so if ou picture the most A typical u pattern
The pull strings are put about mid way up the tails of the U with still floaters at the base and all around them and the two wing spinners staggered on the inside but still tied in with the tails of the U pattern
it seems to drop birds or at least pull there attention right into the landing zone where it is more empty . if that makes any sense lol
. . .
.. . . x
x. o . . x
x.. . .. o . x
x.. . .. . . . .. .
O = wing spinners
X = pull strings
. = floater
also if this little diagram works on here it will blow my mind hahahaha

that's why i am curious about the mega motion in hopes that it will have the ability to tie the pull strings as 1
-
Got my mega motion in the mail today. super excited to put it to work
Here is a picture that rig em right sent me for setup this is 2 different ways to set it up but you can put 12 decoys on it all pulled off the same cord
I am going to hook 2 of my 4 decoys spreaders to the hooks of a couple of the strings to break up the straight line look
thinking this will be nice as it will take individual weights off of at least 16 of my decoys probably save me about 3-4 ponds for packing in

Sorry to say but you don't really need that stuff. If it makes you feel like it gives you a better opportunity by all means use it but it doesnt help that much. Some motion on a calm day is great. All the gadgets in the world wont make a difference if your not scouting and hunting where the birds want to be. Hunt the X and forget the rest.

not sure how this helps this thread. We all know we should be where the birds want to be but it isn't possible all the time so we have to try to make the best of where we can hunt. :twocents:
