I’d always dreamed about an epic cat hunt which I hoped included wild country, deep snow, incredible hounds and a cat of what dreams are made of. Long story short, this hunt which I thought would take place many years from now all came together in the past few weeks.
I’m lost for words, I’ll let a few pics tell the story...

Fantastic cat, congrats!! Got anymore photos of the dogs working? What was the race like?
I wish I got more photos of the dogs working but wasn’t able to; I did however get some good video. Chase was pretty amazing. He’d been following a big female who had two adolescents. Dogs did a fantastic job staying on his the Toms track and not getting mixed up.

Dandy cat :tup: What you think it weighed?
Figured he was in the 160 range; he had an incredible layer of belly fat. Big shout out to WAcoyotehunter, his hounds are second to none and his knowledge of these cats, including behavior, habitat, etc is simply mind blowing. I’m foreever greatful I was able to fullfill my dream with houndsmans that have pure joy in the chase of these magnificent creatures.
