I think its time to lay everything down and move on, I have no hunting friends, I have no family, No one to share it or the lifestyle with. Ill tell you this, regardless of your opinion.. Doing something your supposed to love, alone, never ever to share experiences or stories. Its not fun for me anymore, Its torment. I havent shot a bow in well over a year, I havent trapped in two, and I barely fish anymore. Seems maybe just nothing is enjoyable for ME without having someone to share with.
To anyone who went out of theyre way to help me, thank you.
Most of all, H20 and Pianoman. You two have helped me, reached out to me before, and pulled me into YOUR life before even judging me.
Im moving on to do things that I cant sleep or breath without thinking about.
May not put hunting down forever but I just cant do it right now. Its like it was ripped from my bloodstream. Literally the thought of being able to put down my first bear with a bow or spear (which some know was my ultimate goal overall) taking the ultimate predator in an almost primitive way, Doesnt even trigger a single spark in me anymore. Whatever.
Not leaving this open for replies. I just know some of you message my wife all the time and not me for some reason to find out how I am.
-
You may need to speak to a professional kid
Seriously
Don’t wait
-
I’m no life expert but one thing I do know is the first thing you need to do is get the hell off this forum; I know from experience that getting caught up in this “virtual fantasy” chat room facebook crap can run you into the ground if you let it...Good Luck!
-
The fact that they message Becky to find out how you are means they care about you. I care about you, brother. You're welcome in my hunting camp any time. I'm quite sure my partner would agree. But MadMax is right. If you're this low, get some help. You deserve it and you're worth it. Your wife deserves it and she's worth it - I think you'd agree. And, it can be better. I hope you'll make the choice to make it so. As I've said before, you have my number.

Yeah this and hang in there

Smossy, sometimes you just have to do what you need at the moment to get things right.
If that means putting Hunting aside for awhile, so be it.
Find something or someone to help keep you busy to invest your time and effort, good friends, Wife.
Sometimes helping others is great medicine, when we need it most.
You will always have a place here anytime you wish!
Wish you the best either way, praying for you and your family.

I've ran into the same situation several times in my life, and I'm going through it right now actually. I've moved around the USA several times and you lose hunting/fishing friends frequently due to that. And the older you get, the harder it is to make new friends to go out with. People get married, have kids, have careers, you're not in school meeting new people and more, etc ... It's tough. I just moved out here to Olympia from the Midwest. I have no friends and no family out here. I have to learn to hunt and fish all new country. Yep, the learning curve is going to suck.
-
Smossy,You have been there for some of us on this forum as well. You are a great asset to this forum. When i needed help with fishing you were there to tell me where and when to hit the river,I did what you said and landed the first of several Salmon because of you. Don't give up on us and most of all don't give up on yourself.
Best to you and your family.P.S hows the boat project going?
-
I know where your coming from Bro, my kids are grown out of the house and live in Fl, and Ca, except the oldest but she and her husband both hunt, butt won’t take vacation.
So I do have two friends that make deer camp every year, but the wife really hates when I leave for camp those 11 days. I’ve almost not gone before, but I can’t just not do it, it’s in my blood from childhood. 😉
Hang in there don’t leave us, the forum is a good thing for some us in moderation.🤔
-
The real question is it that are you feeling depressed or just not feeling hunting anymore?! It’s ok to not feel hunting but if it’s depression get help pronto! It sounds like you’ve gone through this before. Like said above get off this site and probably social media altogether it would definitely help IMO! Praying for ya man
-
I dont know you but I know where you are at. Most of my family and friends live on another continent. Its really tough. Especially this time of year when its dark and cold and everything seems to weigh you down. But from the looks of it you have a lot going for you. Dont lose hope and consider looking at professional help if you are seriously down. Slow down and take the time to do you.
Peace brother!!!

Sucks to hear, but I have a buddy doing the same thing. He separated from his wife this past year. Had a really hard time with that and everything he learned after the fact. He thought it would be good to see a therapist. Sometime you should shop around for the right type of therapist. After a few sessions and meeting with this individual, he said the therapist thought it would be a good idea for a life change for him. Next think I know, he is selling everything. Everyone around him is thinking he is going of the deep end.
In the end, maybe changes or big changes are what eventually bring you back to the hunting and fishing when you realize how much enjoyment they can bring. Or may new hobbies and activities heal the soul. Hard to say as everyone is different. If you loose your fire for something, you need to try to discover it in other ways. Hopefully you will find your path and it will be in a positive direction. Sucks to consider throwing in the towel, but health and sanity have to managed in a positive way. Best regards in finding your step again.
-
Being a casual hunter or non hunter is OK too. You get to define who you are, where your passions lie and what you spend your time on. If hunting and fishing don't light your fire find something that does. Best wishes.
-
By all means, take a break from hunting and this forum if you need to. It can be a demanding activity. But when you lose passion for the things that make you the man you are, do like Madmax and Piano suggest, and seek out some help. It is not a sign of weakness, but of wisdom. We care about you. You and your wife are valued members on this forum. Praying for you.
-
Been there dude
It almost cost me everything, dealing with stuff is one thing, forgetting who you are is another.
Its taken me 4 years of recovery to get back to doing things I remembered enjoying
Pm if ya gotta get something off the mind
-
Just another voice in support of you Smossy. :hello:
-
This sure seems to me like a cry for help. Wishing you the very best and hope you follow some of the advice you have been given!
-
Maybe a break is what you need. Hopefully something else comes along that drives you. Good luck.
-
Depression.
Get help before you convince yourself you're right.
-
I live near Yelm. I am going to your site and sending you a PM. I know nothing, have no answers, but I guess I am willing to listen but do not know what my response will be. trying to be honest.

No you’re not, you’re just going through some rough terrain as we all do. Ups, downs, it’s all part of it. An old grizzly, obnoxious, *censored* of a guy (years ago) told me it’s not how you deal with the good stuff in life that matters...but how you shake off the rough water crap. I catch myself complaining about things sometimes until I see a veteran with missing limbs or somebody in very poor health. Shake it off brother.. It’s time to plan next seasons hunting adventures while we’re able to do so. Wanna swing out and do some elk noise practice?
Oh, and bring your bow out. I didn’t hunt elk with a bow last year (gasp) but will in 19. I got a woodsy range where we can shoot out to 60.

Being a person that's in the same boat with friends.
I hunt alone and like it that way, except when kids or wife are in tow.
Friends I do have are co-workers never talk to them outside of work.
I will tell ya friends are over rated most the time, hunting is better solo ,facebook is crap.
Over the years sometimes priority (work, stuff that got in the way of hunting)has gotten me tag soup.
But there is always next year just blow it off ,do what ya need to do.
Most importantly your wife is your best friend more than anybody.
-
Tough love: you're having a pity party, table for one. Stop. If you want help stop the pity party and just ask for some help. Just be like hey guys, having a hard time and could use an open ear. There's people here for that. Reach out to them, they'll respond. We all have hard times now and then, sometimes really hard times. We all go through tough life lessons. Ask for help, an open ear, someone to talk to, hang out with, anything... and you'll have it. Hope you find something.

I remember when Smossy came on here a couple years ago and introduced himself. He had everyone's attention for days! I couldn't tell you how long the thread was but it was long. He had everyone's attention for quite a few days and he would be on the site for hours on end. Even told us how he came up with his username. Won't go into detail but he was looking for work and people on here helped him out and he got a job and worked his tail off putting in long hours at work. He'd come on and tell us about his shift at work and so on. He got into bow hunting and I think he was bummed for awhile until he finally killed a deer, oh happy day!! Fast forward, then the love of his life Becky joins the site and here we go with another long thread and everyone is having a hayday! Turns out Becky made decals or something like that and guys were having her make decals for them and the site. After awhile she lost a co-worker and was super depressed and came on the site and the out pouring of help from friends on the site was crazy. I'm sure she's there for Smossy now. I believe just what I've seem from their posts on the site in the past that they are supporting pillars for each other. The HuntWa family is great supporting pillar also, there isn't a finer bunch of people. Smossy, go outside in the pouring down rain and stick your face into it and just stand there and take it in Bud! Take care Smossy.

I was determined to not reply to anything In this thread, But thank you for having the humanity to actually follow and remember this stuff. Kind of caught me off guard that anyone could quickly throw that much history at me.
Yes becky lost someone close, and she still is not the same, to top it.. My best friend took his own life just a month later. Ive never experienced pain like that. Its now just over 2 years since I lost him. New years eve I spent about 15 minutes in his room alone, Its been untouched. I kinds just sat there, blood stains still everywhere.. Still a hole in the wall where the bullet exited. Its still try to rationalize it all.
Everything in his room me and another friend helped move in....Then Bankruptcy, Then I lost my job, Then struggled with bad substance abuse. Oxys. They infact dropped me dead on May 2nd. I barely survived. Doctor said my brain went without oxygen for 6 minutes and not to be surprised if I have some type of side effects later in life. I overdosed on an extremely lethal dose of fentynal. Luckily my wife managed to run a few people off the road and got me somewhere fast. CPR and Narcan saved my life, cause I was gone.
Literally the most peaceful feeling Ive ever felt. The problem is that almost makes it desirable. Dunno, Im just speaking my mind. It goes in circles. Its like that movie "get out" Im aware of whats going on but its like Im stuck locked to a chair riding passenger.
-
Bud..im hearing you even though i haven't experienced what you are. My recommendation is go see your doctor. I know some ppl that have struggled and its a long process but without help from someone else they pry couldnt of made it. I believe its more common than some of us would like to think. Hang in there!
-
Smossy the fact that you replied is a good sign  and hopefully you're picking up some helpful information from everyone that cares about you and yours. I'm sure your best friend would want you to get your chit together and like you have below your avatar; "Slow down and enjoy the moment." I'm sure you've looked but there's jobs out there for you. You have a talent and someone out there needs it, go find them and share it. I believe Becky is your rock and you are her rock, keep it that way. There's chuck holes in life's road and we've all hit them but it gets better. Chin up Bud, hold your head high and be proud of what you have accomplished. Don't think about the bad stuff, it's poison. I'm sure I speak for a lot of the people on here but we all miss yours and Becky's posts. The best to you.

Sometimes these people are all I need, If ive learned anything over the years is that the people here arent just random people who sign up, were family. As much as I want to hate everyone, I need to hear all angles. If someone tells im being crybaby little.... female dog... I need to hear it, If someone says its more common and Im not the only one, I need to hear it, etc, so forthorth. Ive been away for so long I see lots of real active "new" guys to me. Just know this stupid petty little crap of a website (dont take offense dale) has probably saved my life, maybe a few others and dont be afraidnto meet them. Most of them are solid guys, Drock will surprise you with his shortness and h2o may just grab your butt upon first meeting you. Be prepared....
Or you can spend hunt wa BBQs taking horse shoes to the shins and then being the last two people, me and Joel, determined to drink every single beer brought to the bbq that was left that night, Tell you what, we were beat by 1 beer. :IBCOOL:
Good times.
Some people dont really realise how something so simple as just saying "I care you *censored*" even If you didnt really know someone, or hell even saying hello, could be a determining factor in a life. I have a story I cant share here about approx 3 weeks ago. Not gonna talk about it any further but if someone really wants to take Interest Ill share. See I dont need therapy, you know why, because no shrink will be able to relate to me, know the unbias struggles of trying to survive. Why do I know this? Because my shrink makes $500 for my one hour session. The man is smart. But hes not you guys, When people say seek help, thats what Im doing. I need to hear war stories, I need to see people feel destroyed then come back, My mentality makes me absolutely thrive on things, I THRIVE on positivity and god it feels so good, but I theive on negativity and it gets dangerous.
-
More people on here are pulling for you and Becky than reply here. Leaving hunting or fishing for a while to focus on what you need to get to a better place is smart. This community, however, is full of varied interests, experiences, and people genuinely interested in your and Becky's success.
A relative with a substance abuse history, now very successful, says the desire pops up unexpectedly, and paraphrasing, never really goes away. Professional help and a support system is your first priority. Hunting and fishing will be here when you are ready.
Godspeed to you and Becky.

I care about you Smossy!!!!
-
I care about you too Smossy!
-
Everyone is different dude but I think you should go the opposite route. I'd double down on the mountain time! Hunting pulled me into the light after Aaron was killed. It was my only source of relief. Still is. Pick that bow up again and start shooting. Hit the hills and work up a sweat! Focusing your energy on a task will occupy your mind on something positive instead of something negative. A restless mind can be a dangerous mind. Lots of great new faces on here but some of us old dogs are still around. We fade out but always come back for all those reasons you stated above!
Turkey season is right around the corner so get to shooting!
-
Exactly that. Go pick up your bow.
-
We've all been in the thick and nasty of LIFE. Continue to thrive on the positivity! You've got this!!
-
Forgive me, I may be all wrong here but my opinion cant hurt at this point
I think you need to be more active Smossy. Fishing and hunting are too slow paced, ie, can be very boring and require more patience then you can muster without self medicating. You get bored easily dont you? More so than those around you who you deem "normal"?
You NEED to FEEL things in life more than the average person. When your brain is not stimulated enough you self medicate to tamp down those feelings. Accept yourself for who you are. Dont try to be someone you are not. If you are a passionate person, be that way. Seek out ways to satisfy your brain WITHOUT SELF MEDICATING.
Two things.
Get into jogging or bicycling. Stationary excercise sucks! Its BORING! Get outside everyday on your bike or jogging path if you can. Get your heart rate up and breath hard! Dont be one of these pansies who thinks they are jogging when they are actually trotting. 25 to 40 minutes per day of an elevated heart rate will do wonders for your BRAIN. PUMP ALL THE TOXIC THOUGHTS AND STRESSES OUT! It takes 2 weeks to get over the hump and start to feel gains. At 6 weeks you will really see gains. You will begin to crave (become addicted in a good way) to how you FEEL after a good jog or bike ride. Build on that.
The second thing. Buy an old used motorcycle. I'm serious. The thrill, the FEELING you will get when you open that throttle up will fill a void of lack of stimulation in your brain. Maintaining the bike will sharpen your brain and give you something healthy to do instead of self medicating.
If a motorcycle isnt in the budget, maybe a cheap bicycle can do the same thing. Find a big hill and coast down it as fast as you can. Get into adult league basketball, softball, some competitive sport. The competition is stimulating.
Anyways. Good luck. :hello:

Don't step away from the outdoors, its the only quiet place to clear the mind and escape the rushed lifestyle we all put up with nowadays. Check the partners wanted section there are at least 4 folks on the first page looking for a hunting partner. Stay positive, pick yourself up (you're the only one that can) and lean on your wife and us to keep yourself up. You came onto this site from a troubled past if I remember right, got onto a straight path and stayed there a long time (pretty sure that path had hunting and fishing on it), find that path again and walk it with your eyes open! Stop and look at nature, the way the water flows, how a leaf drifts down from a tree the stunning colors of a steelhead. You got this Smossy!!

I’m not very good at writing down the thoughts in my head so bear with me.
I can relate to you in many ways, my actions in the past have kept me from doing things that I capable of but with only a tenth grade education and a ged I can only go so far. Which is catching up to me now at 40.
The saying “Idle hands is the devils workshop” rings true to so many people but most don’t realize it. Sitting around the house unemployed can lead a person to dwell on things that they would otherwise just brush off. Grab a fishing rod a hike into a lake, today. Who cares what the weather is doing.
Go online a find a place to volunteer for a day. There are places that do habitat or trail improvements all over the state. Earth Corps, Washington Trails Association to name a few. There might be a local river group that gets together once a month and cleans up areas or brushes out areas close by. Google volunteer in X county, WA and things will come up. You never know who you might meet and it will get you out of the house for a couple of hours.
With the other stuff, the mental health person you are seeing might not be the right fit for you. See someone else for a couple sessions or find a third or fourth to see if that one doesn’t work out either. But remember, people in mental health, 99% of the time, have never dealt with the same situation or feelings that their patients have. They give their patients tools to DEAL with what life has to throw at them. For some it might be an ear that a person can confide in that absolutely won’t share with anyone else, or it’s an activity that helps calm nerves. Self medicating, almost always, never works and it looks like it almost was your last sunset.
There are a lot of companies desperate for workers. You have mentioned you like woodworking, any local cabinet shops that need someone, or look into some unions that are hiring apprentices. But getting a job, even one that isn’t ideal for what you want to do, will help your mind and put a couple of bucks in your pocket.
Don’t forget about the people who care for you. Your wife almost lost the love of her life! Your decisions, good or bad, affect the loved ones around you more than you might realize.
Good luck finding what works for you, I really hope you don’t give up, find work and start finding the things that work for you.
-
We've messaged in the past and I'm here to do so again if you want. You are depressed, and at least recently have been suicidally depressed. You have good reasons to feel discouraged, but that is brain chemistry that is making you feel hopeless. Quit self medicating and get on an effective antidepressant, it will help you roll with life's punches without being overwhelmed. I did it for my wife and son to save my family, you need to do it for yours. Stay off heavy drinking and narcotics, if you need to chemically take off the edge sativa dominant cannabis is probably your best bet. Stay off indicas, they'll just push you deeper down.
I also strongly agree with rechanneling your passion - and depression can definitely be a passion. I hate exercise, but when I was at my lowest one of the few things that helped was to run until I puked or got a side stitch so bad I couldn't stand it. Pushing yourself physically provides an emotional release and I highly support the recommendation of running or cycling.
You can do this!
-
You need a life coach, open ears, and to set some goals.
Both you and your wife should meet with one at the same time.
You will be amazed at what surfaces and the clarity an outsider can bring to your situation.
It will take many changes to get the result you are searching for IMHO.
You can become ANYONE you want to become.
-
You guys make it hard to reply so just,
thank you.
-
David Goggins has a book out, you may want to check it out as he goes into a bunch of detail on being in a hard place and what he did to create the life he wants. There are also a ton of YouTube interviews if you want it in a nutshell.
-
I grew up hunting with my family, then just the old man, now its basically just me and let me tell you some of my most exiting time in the woods has been enjoyed alone. as time goes on things change this year i will have my boy in the woods with me. If there is one thing i know when my head is f&%ked the only thing that makes it right is time in the outdoors and when i say that i mean time alone. collect yourself it seems to me you need more time in the woods not less.

Some of the best money I ever spent on myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have something that I think I can go a long ways with, Its the only thing that sparks my interest, I literally cant stop thinking about. If some of you would of read alittle closer Im setting things down for something else. If i can just get my head focused, this stuff is going to be amazing and Ill make sure you guys will get the first taste of it. Just waiting to raise/save enough money. Sure Im in a dark spot but its like a daily roller coaster, shrink as a kid said I had ASPD, growing up figuring that was obviously not the case because I have compassion, too much sometimes. Then I fall into misanthropic thinking and just am like whats the point. Current shrink doesnt think its quite depression but more bipolar. Im supposed to be on Remeron and Lamictal but they take away from my sharpness. I dont take them anymore and I just dont want medication. I AM done with basically all substances.

Ill do you one thing better, Ill give you a visual.
Lets see If I remember how to post videos.
This is called Acro FPV Drone Freestyle. Growing up I was always obsessed jeb corliss and proximity wingsuit flying, Well I came to the realization Im never jumping off a mountain but Ive always loved the view from the sky. This is basically a brand new thing, 5 yearsish and really only the last 2 years have paved the way. You want to know what goes on in my nimble little brain... I wanna be the best.
So really guys Im not trying to run away from the outdoors, if anything I think this could bring ME closer.
-
The best part of that video, Is nothing is sped up, nothings altered or reveresed.
You have absolute control and you fly through goggles as if your the pilot. Alot of you old timers should really consider buying a tinywhoop kit. Your life will change.
-
Great idea smossy. Hang in there, we are all pulling for you. I think the outdoors is good for anybody, the fresh air clears the mind.
-
I don't know you but I for one hope you stick around. One of my favorite threads was seeing the photo of you after the epic sunburn you got on Mt. St. Helens!

Its literally a brand new sport and hobby and I want to be part of paving the industry.
I want to be able to create content to help this hobby grow and bring in morr people to it because what it is, is absolute fun. Getting up close and personal with with wild locations and rock formations that possibly have never had a human eye see. Only because it would need to be by a birds eye. This will open a whole new world of beauty and show the world really how gorgeous simple stuff is. I have a goal, I just cant stop fighting my mind. Today I feel pretty great, Ive had alot of you guys reach out and thanks for that. Im trying to spark becks spirit today because shes been the same as me. I made her get put of bed and hop in the shower. Said maybe tmorrow well drive up to mountain rainier and make some content. Hell or just take in the beauty.

Cool video. I see why you like. Its like being a VR bird.? Mt Rainier? Gov shutdown might cause issues, dunno?

Technically Im a licensed pilot and being under said amount of grams in weight theres shouldnt be any issues. I plan on flying the nuke silos In elma to. Appearantly they let fpv brothers into the underground warehouse and let them fly full lights on. Pretty dang cool. Im saving up for my laptop first because I need the hardware to handle the content. So once I get hands on an xps 15 Im good. Game on.
Today is uneventful but I feel alot better.

Kapowsin bulls outhere are honestly IMO some of the largest bulls in the state, if not country. Goodluck getting access to the lands they roam though. Ive still never found any elk while hunting myself.
-
Dad logged out of Kapowsin camp years ago. Ditto on the bulls! Goat Rocks would be kinda cool as well.. If range is far enough?
-
What kind of range do you get with these thongs (oooops) things :bash:?

Depends on batterys, vxt transmitters, modules, line of sight.
But 4 miles is doable. The problem is your video feed will cut before your drone will lose signal. People mostly getting those ranged on fixed wings though. But 2-3miles with a drone is doable. I only want range so I can hit ridge tops.

@Smossy after that pm from you I'm very glad that you seem quite a bit better.
Your project sounds very cool.
Still sending prayers to you and Becky

Don’t want to be a Debbie downer but almost all National Parks ban drones, some give permits for research are even rare.

Also, something now just happened and Im gonna share.
Music has indeed kept me with you fine people for as long as I have. Without and doubt saved me life and Im sure some of you can say the same.
Theres a story about two different songs last month that both came out from some of my favorite musicians, One brought me out of a dark hole and the other well did something else. Anyways.
Just now, Checking up on our favorite artists.
Me and Beck just found this and its a keeper. Released 23 hours ago.
Seems to always be right when people need it, for me atleast.
Funny the timing, the title, my thread. Life is weird.

If you go up to fly the cooling towers etc. at the nuke site let me know, I work there and might be able to help.

Just want to say you guys are amazing. The amount of you that reached out kind of boggles my mind but gives me faith that huntwa still has a good heart. I initially left because there was some real bad bickering back n forth about politics or something. Then I just stopped having an outlet. Somewhere to talk express an opinion cause you all know I have those. I thinking walking away from the people was the wrong idea. I dunno, my minds different today. Im gonna stay positive.

Maybe early archery. Had a heck of a time trying to get a guy from CO one before Christmas. He's trying to get his single season archery deer slam. Finally managed to get a doe in front of him. He shot deer #5, a Coues Whitetail this morning in AZ and is giving it some time. Hope he recovers it.
All my best

I don’t know you, but you don’t need hunting. You need a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

No offense, But I tried that route to. I believe in a higher power but Im not gonna say its a single person or even an object. I see it when I walk in the woods in the early morning, Right when the sun is creeping through the trees. You get that one split second of a view, of what "it" is. being unable to define.
But I tried for years, even sacrificed a large piece of my body. Its not for me.

I used to say the same thing, It's not for me, but I was wrong, it was for me. Hope you are wrong too. Glad to hear you are doing better, God Bless.

Yes!
This is TRUTH and REAL advice! The world, people, hunting and even this forum will always let you down at some point. JESUS never will. You have had a obvious glimpse of Him through his creation, hang onto that and keep searching. He created you and He is the only one that can fix you. We are all broken in some way, you are not alone!
-
God is pure love and light. We are all lost without Him. His Son made the sacrifice necessary for us to enjoy His company forever. We all have to make a choice. Think carefully about this one because it lasts for eternity. Praying for you and your family.

Okay, okay, we get it......The guy has God tattooed on his body, God is not working for him at the moment, maybe let it go and offer him an alternative....
Smossy, I don't have much else to say that hasn't already been other than you have friends and fans on this site who you have never spoken to, same goes for SG, that's pretty dang special. Just wanted you to know that there are people who you've never met that care about your well-being. Cheers bud!

Tattooing God on your arm won’t make you any closer with the lord. All spiritual. I don’t know smossy but I wish him all the best and I’m praying that things get better for him

It wasnt to make me any closer, it was a reminder the word trust, is inside the word god, hence forth its meaning "Trust in God" and I got it big and bold right where Id always see it and it helped me get through dark times in prison. It is what it is but its no longer part of my life, even if you want tl argue religion which I dont...
But isnt that what a higher power is supposed to be for? To be there when you need it the most, When your life is so in shambles you HAVE to believe that this aint it.
Just my two cents.

I hear ya! Yeah I was just stating my own opinion. I personally feel my higher power always loves me but I make my own choices in life. If I’ve hit rock bottom, which I have in years past I never expected my God to pull me out of it or help me without me fully wanting the help and doing everything in my power to change. If you ever need someone to talk to shoot me a pm and I will gladly try to help
