Title: Do you hunt deer with an AR?

Post by: NWShooter on January 12, 2019, 10:25:33 AM: Taken 5 deer in WA with a AR. 6.8 SPC & 6.5 Grendel. 120 SST in the 6.8 and 123 SST in the Grendel. Both did well. I had a 120 SST exit twice with shots on deer. I’ve never had a exit with the 123gr SST with the Grendel.

How do you like the 243 WSSM?
How does it do out of an AR? Any magazine issues?
I have a Model 70 in 243 WSSM, love the round!

I have "alot" of boxes Winchester 95gr silvertips that I need to shoot, LOL

Works wonders. 60gr Partitions out of a AR work great on Antelope.
