Post by: jjhunter on March 25, 2009, 11:03:22 AM: I owned that same Kimber and it would put 55 grain v-max behind a full case of H380 into a ragged hole at 100 yards. The only thing I did was lighten the trigger. Those Kimber trigger can be pretty sweet. I also own a Montana in 270 wsm that is very accurate as well. Have fun with it!

I have a Ruger with a 1 in 12" twist barrel that shoots 39.4 gr H-380 with the 50 gr V-Max pretty well, but my pet load is 39.0 gr IMR 4064 with a 40 gr V-Max.
