Is there an ID test?  I've searched the site and can't find anything, isn't there a grizzly test also??  Can you post the link if there is one, thanks.

Log in to your WDFW Wild System.  Mandatory species ID test tab.

There is now. And once you draw, you can’t get your permit till you pass the test.

76% on the goat test for me, some of the pics you couldn't see enough to figure out the sex.  had to guess. Got 100% on the bear test though.

They required my son to take it for the conflict tag last year. Even though they want you to shoot any goat.

I think a goat tag is a goat tag as far as their computers go.

Does it only give you a score if you don’t pass?

I think from the reading that the goat is solo that you are supposed to go male.  females hang in groups.

Knowing absolutely nothing about goats I feel pretty good about passing with 80%. But I feel the test is too subjective with the "should you take the shot questions". They should stick with ID questions.

negative.  Explanation of the answer entailed the curvature of the horn.  Maybe I'm going blind but I can't even see the horn lol

Male.
  Incorrect sir! You fail :chuckle:

After you finish the test go back to the main test page and it will have your score next to date attempted.

Only one I missed was the above image I posted.  Since the horns are all but unidentifiable, and the image is so grainy, I went with the solo goat theory and just guessed male.

I nailed that one, but I went with the short face and decided it was a nanny. Billies have the long horse face.

Couldn’t tell enough of the horns either.

I blew it on another ID one.
