Near Sprague lake, one of three wolves was killed while chasing cattle. Do we need a freedom of information act request to find out what was in her belly?
-
Besides lead?

Does the rancher get to keep it?

Good for him!

"Most of Washington's wolves are in four north-central and northeast counties. Fish and Wildlife says it expects wolves to eventually disperse throughout the state."
This ship has already, sailed.......

Good deal

Good for him. Save a few deer lives.
-
That might explain why I haven’t seen a single deer on a piece of property that I purchased near there :bash: I am a little worried now that I will be moving a few cows there this spring.
-
two thumbs up!!

 article says no known wolf packs in the area? I guess they know now :chuckle:
-
you have to remember how these tards chose to define a pack. there could be a hundred wolves there yet no pack. no pack no wolves. :bash:

http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2019/feb/05/idaho-woman-breaking-up-dog-fight-grabs-young-coug/ Idaho woman breaks up what she thought was a dog fight. Now a 35# cat isn't a tough critter til you try to "manhandle" it.lol

:yeah: :bash:
Wolves have "migrated" to several parts of WA, the main problem is WDFW's lack of wolf confirming.

Wdfw defines a pack as two or more wolves traveling together. The breeding pair thing is a requirement for delisting criteria, not a requirement to be a pack

We have too many wolf experts on here and not enough wolf hunters :chuckle:

Wolves have been between Sprague and Rock Lake for years. That's what has pushed the Elk out of Turnbull. I know that, you know that, The )#_$R(#+$*! State knows that but they cover it up and ignore it because their end goal is to kill all hunting and take all of our guns.

Pushed the elk out of the Turnbull? :o

Good for the rancher, to bad it wasn't three for three.
-
Sounds like the investigation whether justified or not was pretty cut an dry. Probably some nice tracks in the snow from fleeing cattle and chasing wolves.
I hate to see a rancher put on the rack and fear not being believed/face stiff fine and whatever else.

Sorry for the delay Jonathan S. The Elk that 5 years ago were over populating Turnbull have scattered. It used to be if you drew a Elk tag for Turnbull is was almost a done deal. If you look at the success rates from the hunt they have been falling. Yes their are still elk there, but no way near the numbers they used to be. In the last 3 years I have seen more Elk near Escure than Turnbull. About the same time rumors of wolves in Turnbull started popping up. I don't wear a tin hat but I am connecting dots even thought the State does not want anyone to.

There's plenty of wolf hunters, the problem is that every time there gets to be a shortage of wolves in an area, wolves seemed to "migrate" back in magically...

That actually makes a lot of sense. I went there to photograph a year or two ago and was HUGELY disappointed.

There hasn’t been a deer worth taking pic of in that country since the late 90’s.
