Great outcome to the story thanks for posting.
It really sucks the backlash he is getting

It's an interesting story but there are a few confusing points. 1st, why would he have dropped the chainsaw, a formidable weapon? Second, the article says his rifle was a 7.62x39 SKS. Canadians don't get to own evil rifles, as far as I know. That sounds a little funny. Glad he killed the wolf and all, but... :dunno:

Call me a skeptic, the knife doesn't look like it was used in a fight but rather dipped in blood. It should be full of hair and sticky from tip to pommel, he should be covered in hair, the wolf should be a matted up mess of fur and blood. fights aren't pretty. He looks like a guy who's been cutting wood and popped a wolf then contrived a story.

Looks like a completely contrived fluff piece that is more propaganda than anything based on fact.
Lovely dead wolf.

Finding a dropped axe in a couple feet of snow in the middle of fighting with a wolf was a lucky stroke for sure. But things were a blur I'm sure. Glad it all ended well tho.

Pretty sure SKS are legal just nothing Mag Fed.

Why the heck would you toss a running chainsaw at it?? That's almost as dumb as throwing your gun!! Hmm. I think its a shoot then knife job. :sry:

Definitely a manufactured story without a doubt but at least he killed a wolf.

A happy ending for sure.
