Anyone else get the email from WDFW saying you've bought an application but haven't submitted it yet, but have a confirmation date and number when viewing it on their website? Both myself and my buddy who I'm applying with got it.
:dunno:
-
Yes I got it too. The fix is in. :dunno:
-
They're probably sending it to everyone who bought an application. Kind of like how I got emails several times recently telling me that I had hunting reports that were almost overdue, when in fact I had submitted everything other than the cougar report, which isn't due yet because the season goes to April 30th.
-
yeah i got it as well and both mine and my sons both show submitted weeks ago.
wazzu

Yup, I called just to make sure and he said I was good to go, he also said I was already drawn. :dunno:

Nice try :chuckle:

I got it too, not as lucky as trophyhunt though... hahaha

Called and they confirmed that my app was submitted. They said they sent out that email blast so no one could complain they weren't notified the draw was approaching...One would think that they might actually think about running a report to see who actually hadn't submitted it and only email those folks buuuuut I guess I expect a bit too much.

You also assume they know when the draw was happening.

It says right in the regs, due by feb 28th. If people cant figure it out, tough luck.

What a novel concept!

Another example of a govt agency not worried about quality service to their customers. Why bother when you are the only game in town? They always want more money but what doea that money buy us. Nuttin!

Got it. Have changed my choices a couple times. To give everyone better odds, I deleted 3rd and 4th choice. Got my phone reminder this morning. :chuckle:

:yeah:
I went ahead and did my coug report since they closed huckleberry.
Makes ya worry your not put in for draw when you already submitted.
-
I am pretty sure there are people out there who purchased an application, but had not selected a hunt. I think after February 28th, they become points only.
-
My bro submitted mine as a party hunt, hope it went OK :o
Yup all good, I logged in and double checked :chuckle:
-
Thanks for the reminder....purchased and skagit here i come.

I'm sure I'm solid with 1 point. I mean I did buy into the unit, so how could I not draw. :dunno:

I find it odd that Kiro 7 posted a reminder on their FB page. I saw anti-hunters commenting on the WDFW post that they were going to apply to try and take an opportunity away (I don’t think they realized you also have to pass hunters ed and buy a tag).
-
That is weird. Unless Kiro is trying to stir some drama up.

That was my thought when I saw it.

Unless wdfw is trying to generate funds and don't care where it comes from or what it does to sportsman. Hope they do their research.

Pretty sure this was tied to their other news report questioning private timberlands spring bear hunts from before. Why else would they have stated all the information needed to apply for these special permits if they were trying to make the tree hugger groups aware,

saw that felt like trying to get people to flood them just did mine went ok
