This was a Bobcat set made by a good friend just east of Walla Walla at the lower edge of the foothills. The cat was released without incident except it was a little tense as he tried to keep the door shut with his foot as he raised the door lock rings and the cat had his claws out and was swiping at the door the whole time. Trap is 18 to 20" high

wonder why they didn't back up to the cage and take a "selfie" :dunno:

 !! It would be nice to be able to legally trap a cougar
-
Oogly moogly! That’s awesome.
-
For a bass fisherman that’s a huge catch and release!

No way I'm releasing that cat, no way, not a chance, no way. I'd be so terrified I'd go home, change my drawers and call wdfw.

Whoa! Just look at them pearly whites!!! :yike:

Awesome cat

Great catch! Oh, well, nervous release.
That is one strong trap! I've caught animals twice that tore up my traps. Wonder what they were.

:yike: How big was that cat? Juvenile probably, huh?

Bunch of snow there, looking for an easy meal close to town

Sure wish we were allowed to trap lions. I have a damn lion highway running through my back yard, would be the perfect place to set one.
