Thanks. He’s got a few deer and close on his elk but he was ten then and he’s 13 now. Been a few years since he’s been out. Got him a bear cruzer and working on 40+ lbs draw for elk season. He can split the lines on a target at 100 yards w the rifle so we should do good if we find em. I put one of the cams facing this trail in photo. Might have been sow and cub cause smaller track was on same trail. Smaller track looked older though. I had the tag 3 years ago and seen no bear but I have a feeling it’ll be different for the boy.

Seen 5 bears in the last week. Put the smack down on one last night right before dark.we were alternating calling sequences. He came in hot and heavy we could hear him running like a tank though the woods. Put one shot through his chest at 85 yards and it was all over as he crashed to his death 50 yards from spot he was hit.
I’ll follow up with more after some sleep.

Bears have definitely been hitting the berries. Small boar I got on the 5th had a medley of berries the big guy I got the 14th was just hitting one kind

Mine still had a mouth full of berries and leaves when I skinned and quartered him.

I finally got my first bear ever last Saturday morning, but every time I try to post with pictures it doesn't work. I'll hit post and it just goes to a blank white screen...help?on your phone take a screen shot of the picture then there is no resizing required. Congrats on your first bear!
