Yeah, been finding quite a decent variety of the comics here on whidbey, but, with the temps looking decent near the foothills recently I thought there might be some popping. Got a couple burns I want to check as well. I'll be up shed and mushroom hunting at the end of this month and I'll share any info...just not the where :chuckle:

Where do you find thrm in the Cascades in the Darrington/ Rockport/Granite Falls area.
What type of cover should I be looking for?
I have found a few in the cottonwoods in the Arlington/Stanwood area, but very few.

Go to the east side of the Cascades where the Ponderosas start. You'll find them in there, probably in great abundance with the rains we've had.

I was out looking for shed antlers on the Eastside of the cascades last week and since I was staring at the ground anyways, I thought I’d look for some Morels.. no luck for me! I do great on the Chanterelles in the falls, but man I suck at finding Morels! And shed antlers apparently! Lol.

Where can you find them on the wet side? I’ve been looking for years and haven’t found one, different story on the east side tho.
