Title: Lake Chelan
Post by: Recon on April 29, 2019, 02:18:18 PM
I’m headed up camping this weekend at lake chelan state park. We are going to try and find our first patch of the elusive to us “morels”. I’m wondering if it’s a waste of my time to bring the shotgun for turkeys. Are there any turkeys around the south end of chelan. We will probably be in the eniat area looking for shrooms.

Might have better luck with the turkeys than the motels. Been cooler than a well diggers azz in the Klondike. Need some rain

There are turkeys around. If you have a tag, it never hurts to bring the shotgun

Turkeys spend vast majority of their time on private ground. Was out two days ago looking for shrooms in fire areas and found zero. Needs  to warm up a lot, and some rain too
