Title: The Temptation, Westport
Post by: h20hunter on May 13, 2019, 07:08:02 AM
Fished out of westport yesterday on the temptation. Good trip. 38 mile am run to the secret halibut spot.....only about 45 boats in the same square qtr mile  :chuckle:. Easy boat limit then ground out a limit of lings for the boat. Capt worked hard, kept us on the water longer than he needed to. Good trip but I'm whooped today.

Yup! @Skillet  Even on my last adventure we weren't that far from dry land. I think being up north helped a bit as we had decent seas heading out...I did not participate in any rail chumming.

I won't ever go back on the  party barges that fish 24 or so people. To many show up hungover, late, etc. A six pack boat is perfect.  This is our second trip on the Temptation and we will surely do it again.
