:chuckle:
I was wondering if it was you guiding out of porcupine, but the guide I seen didn't have a top on his boat to escape the rain.
His clients looked cold!

Agreed BUT, They are the best white fleshed, fresh water fish I’ve ever eaten IMHO...I grew up in Michigan catching and eating everything from bullheads & cats, small & largemouths, and every panfish we hauled in. Perch were a close second best! (Imagine that! Perch and walleye tasting similar!)

Yup....grew up in the midwest....now I do love love some fresh fried catfish or a whole mess of bluegill......or crappie.....or perch....ok I like it all.

Walleye are as good as fresh water eating gets. Perch too but they are smaller. They are related both in the Percidae family.
Go Spartans!
