Hey all been awhile. Was able to get more pics of our camp bear. Has anybody seen many collared black bears? This is a first for me. Still kinda looks like a young grizz. What you all think?
-
Take the WDFW test, you’ll see the difference. Blackie all day long.😉
The first blonde blackie I saw I thought was a frizz, until I looked at it for a minute.
-
Ya I've seen a lot of bears from the time when we could still bait. That bears head is huge. Was kinda freaking the wife out when we seen the collar.
-
Ive gotten a couple blackies on cam with collars and ear tags
-
@face it would be easier to tell if you posted a grip-n-grin of you and that bear :chuckle:
Like others have said: blackie all day long. and BIG. Go get 'em!

Here’s one with a hump but pretty sure it’s blackie? Chinook pass area.

Chinook pass area, like, along the Naches Peak loop? I've had several family members and friends talk about seeing a bear up there on the popular trail; kinda figure it's the same individual that's just decided humans are OK. I guess it would be right about that as long as it stays inside the NP... :chuckle:

BLACKY

I'm at work, so I can't use the "B" word.
It's a bear of color not a grizz.
