My hunting partner drew this tag also. He told me years ago if he ever drew I'd have to go with him. I just put in my vacation time at work

Well day 8 still trucking called in a bull but could not make a shot. 1450 miles driven but got the ok from the boss to keep on it. Snow was brutal up here. 2ft deep trees down everywhere cleared 31 trees day 1 at around 60 trees cleared right now lol. Just thought I'd give an update while in town getting more supply's since I'll be solo for most the week. Hope everyone is doing great good luck everyone

Anybody live up around chewelah? I have a flatbed trailer I'd like to store it in an open spot in your yard. The last of my group is leaving wed so I'll be sleeping in the truck and dont wanna leave the trailer chained up all day with nobody around
-
Seen our first animal since last monday today lone cow about yards from me feeding called for an hr. Later found 7 fresh beds in the snow with poop stinging on top of the snow followed track called for 2hrs and nothing

Congrats on killing a great looking bull.
-
Thanks I couldnt have done it without the help and support from my hunting partners and everyone in huntwa who took their time to help me out.

Doglegs getting it done all around. Great camp and new fun experiences that make last years record seem easy. Many new firsts like grouse hunting primal style without a shot fired. Chanterelles the size of dinner plates that Ben found and a bunch of old trapper cabins. Great camp and a really fun hunt. Thanks Dogs for keeping me safe while road cleaning in 2 ft snow with chainsaws and turning a blind eye as I tripped on an exposed root and somersaulted across camp to my chair at the fire pit :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
