Just curious if anyone is excited as me?
-
I'd like to learn it.
-
I would also love to learn it. Done well on Roosevelt with my son catching trout and bass. What part of the lake or at least what launch do you fish out of usually?
-
Does anybody know if any of the local guides go out for sturgeon on Roosevelt ? And if so any recommendations?
-
Doesn't Craig with yj?
-
This guy!!! I think I have been more excited for this than the draw results!!!!
-
I am curious how this season is going to turn out.
-
Thin slot which is great. Tells me there's many years left of this fishery.
-
I usually go out of China Bend,Snag Cove or Marcus Island.
-
I believe every guide in Washington State fishes this fishery YJ would probably be my choice I see his boat the most.
-
I'm leaving at noon and sleeping on the boat to beat the boat launch entertainment center in the morning.
-
Terrible opener . We had people I know on 7 different boats from kettle to China bend 1 fish caught.
-
How'd you do? @ne kid

Lake Roosevelt Charters out of Hunters does pretty well on sturgeon..

Thanks everyone for the tips on guides. I hope to get booked with One so I can go out and learn the ropes of this fishery. I fished the lower Columbia A lot but that has been 20+ years ago and I have not had a chance since then. Hopefully we can start seeing some positive reports and pictures of successful trips out

It has been really slow. We caught 6 shakers yesterday. 2 shakers today and one oversize. Sleeping on the boat till Tuesday. Caught 11 pike today though.
