I would also love to learn it. Done well on Roosevelt with my son catching trout and bass. What part of the lake or at least what launch do you fish out of usually?

I usually go out of China Bend,Snag Cove or Marcus Island.

I believe every guide in Washington State fishes this fishery YJ would probably be my choice I see his boat the most.

Terrible opener . We had people I know on 7 different boats from kettle to China bend 1 fish caught.

Lake Roosevelt Charters out of Hunters does pretty well on sturgeon..

Thanks everyone for the tips on guides. I hope to get booked with  One so I can go out and learn the ropes of this fishery. I fished the lower Columbia  A lot but that has been 20+ years ago and I have not had a chance since then.  Hopefully we can start seeing some positive reports and pictures of successful trips out
