How soon until the permits show up in the mail.
-
I was wonder the same thing. Been so long since I drew anything I don't remember... Took me 7 points to draw a doe tag.. :bash: :bash:
-
was about to post this other day figured i would see people posting about them showing up
-
I didn’t draw anything but very excited for the people who did. Can’t wait to be a party of a couple permits this year
They should be coming real soon
-
They say by the end of July
-
Hell I am still waiting for my license and tags! I ordered those 5/21 and still haven't received them. I called and confirmed they were sent to my PO Box but was told that I meow have to purchase reprints since its past 30 days. Frustrating to say the least.
-
Oh man I'm sorry! That's just crazy! You shouldn't have to repay to get your tags if you never received them in the first place!
-
I got my moose tag last week!! :IBCOOL:
-
I got my moose and sheep tags/packets last week. FYI to everyone like myself that has never drawn an oil before, you have to call to Olympia to get your tags. Can not buy at a local retailer
-
Haven’t seen my quality elk tag yet. I wont believe it until I get my hands on it.
-
yet to see my quality deer.
-
Got my late deer tag in the mail today. :IBCOOL:
-
Got my quality elk
-
Got my Utah LE Elk tag in the mail. I drew nothing from WA this year (barring miracle in the raffles)
-
Mine were also in todays mail. Miss the old days when you'd get a postcard instead of a full letter sheet to carry around.
-
Not that I’ve really been on the edge of my seat waiting for it but my second deer permit came in the mail today also. Looks like I will have to go down and buy my tag now

And If I remember correctly you have to purchase the tags by a certain date or you forfeit the hunt and it goes to the next runner up in the draw.

Got my buck permit today

Cow permit in hand today....

Quality deer and elk tags made it safely home
-
Got all of ours today too

-
Permits are here! Finally feels real!
-
Mailbox was loaded with tags yesterday! Utah, Colorado and Idaho.....Not sure the last time I checked the mail though! Glad I checked it and not the wife!
-
Daughter got her youth Deer tag today.

I wonder if a photo copy on my phone will suffice?was thinking about calling wdfw and asking if that would meet the requirements

If you do call, keep us posted. Then I wouldn't have to make sure to carry the darn thing

The official answer is that you have to carry the paper copy. Kinda silly, from what I understand Oregon assigns your tags and license electronically now.

(2) Mountain goat, moose, and bighorn sheep special hunting season permit applications:
(a) Persons who have previously harvested a mountain goat, bighorn sheep ram, an antlered bull moose taken under an "any antlered bull moose" permit, or any moose (whether antlered or not) taken under an "any moose" permit in Washington are ineligible for a special hunting season permit for that category. This lifetime harvest restriction does not apply to individuals who harvested a mountain goat before 1999, raffle or auction hunt authorizations, ewe-only bighorn sheep hunts, or antlerless-only moose hunts.
(b) Applicants for all mountain goat, moose, and/or bighorn sheep special hunting season permits must have either successfully completed hunter education prior to submitting an application, or have a birth date prior to January 1, 1972.
(c) Successful applicants under this section must purchase the appropriate hunting license by the deadline established by the department (a minimum of 15 days). Failure to purchase forfeits the permit to an alternate applicant.

Not really any different than having to carry the paper copy of your license.

Except you can put your licenses in your wallet. I miss the little postcards we used to get
-
I dont carry a wallet. Tags and permit go into kill kit with havalon, bags, e-tape
-
I purchased a modern rifle deer tag; however, I did not get drawn for any of the modern rifle hunts.
Can I exchange My modern rifle deer tag for a muzzle loader deer tag?
Don

No you can't. See page 5 in the pamphlet. If you had not applied for special permit hunts, then you could have exchanged your tag.

-
