Title: CVA ACCURA owners
Post by: slinger on July 07, 2019, 09:23:19 AM: So I have decided to purchase the Accura for my upcoming elk hunt. From your guys experience what powder/bullet combo works the best with these guns?

Post by: Bulldozer77 on July 09, 2019, 06:01:09 PM: 209 primer, 150 grains of white hots and 300 gr powerbelts. The gun is built to handle magnum loads, and it was pretty much sighted in out of the box. I love mine! Quite accurate, one and done. :tup:

I just got an Optima from a member on here. He gave me some Hornady SST 250 grain. I was thinking about getting Blackorn 209 with the plug. I was curious what is the advantage? Dont mean the thread Jack

The website tells you all the “advantages” but the only one I can attest to is you can shoot shot after shot after shot without cleaning.
