So I have decided to purchase the Accura for my upcoming elk hunt. From your guys experience what powder/bullet combo works the best with these guns?

Blackhorn 209 with the specific BH209 breech plug.  The Barnes 290gr bullet works well for elk size game and is accurate in the Accura V2.

209 primer, 150 grains of white hots and 300 gr powerbelts. The gun is built to handle magnum loads, and it was pretty much sighted in out of the box. I love mine! Quite accurate, one and done.

I just got an Optima from a member on here. He gave me some Hornady SST 250 grain. I was thinking about getting Blackorn 209 with the plug. I was curious what is the advantage? Dont mean the thread Jack

The website tells you all the “advantages” but the only one I can attest to is you can shoot shot after shot after shot without cleaning.
