I was fortunate to draw my OIL bull moose tag in Spokane north. I made a day trip to the area last weekend and had a hard time locating state land to set up hunting camp. I got my IEP permit but camping is not allowed on IEP land.
Don’t really want to motel it and would prefer to set up camp somewhere. Can anyone give me some pointers on where to find some good camp locations in the area? I would greatly appreciate it.

At the top of Blanchard Rd there’s a big pullout on the north side. I parked my trailer there when I had my tag. It’s not great but I didn’t have any issues.

did the same in 2012 not ideal as a lot of locals use this spot for target practice but was better than driving down to town or KOA every night had no issues with anyone messing with camper while I was out hunting all day till after dark before my return each night, surprising how much traffic is on this road at all hours of day and night so you don't get a lot of peace and quiet but like said before works well and its free..... :twocents:

Jerry's Landing at Elioka lake has camp spots and a couple little cabins that are reasonably priced. Stayed in them when my son drew youth north Spokane cow.
