Title: comment on federal delisting

below are my comments i submitted:

I strongly support the federal delisting of wolves in the lower 48. Wolves are no longer threatened or endangered specifically in Washington state, and all states including Washington have Fish and Wildlife Depts fully capable of managing the conservation of this species. As an elk hunter my specific data in support of this change is anecdotal, and while anecdotes alone are insufficient, I hope that many anecdotes will be submitted together to strengthen the record. I hunt in the NE corner of Washington state. In the last 3 years I have noted a substantial increase in the number of wolves on my trail cameras and a substantial decrease in the numbers of elk and deer. When elk and deer are photographed, there are fewer calves and fawns and the numbers of animals together are fewer. Populations of ungulates are becoming increasingly scattered and decreased. When hiking through my hunting area, there are far more wolf tracks and more scat than ever, with a huge increase in kill sites with deer and elk parts scattered all over the roads and trails. In the last 3 years I have twice had wolves come into my elk calls. Both times large wolves came within 20 yards of me. Attached is a trail camera photo of a large wolf that came into my calls; I am pictured in the background sitting against a tree. This is not a species that is threatened or endangered or rare. Populations of wolves are underestimated. Thank you for considering my submission in this process.

Well I sent my comment in supporting the delisting a couple days ago. I am signed up to receive emails from a couple wolf loving groups to keep an eye on their antics. They both sent out a form letter where they want you to put in all your info and hit send. Hard to compete against the numbers those clowns get.

Done. I think that with Trump at the helm, there's a fair chance this'll happen.
