You guys know how much snow is out in the teanaway valley? I would like to get some scouting in some but don't really want to get over there an wish i brought the snowshoes.
Thanks

It snowed up here last night, but a slight blanket is all. But most of what fell last night hasn't melted and its still storming. As of about a week and half ago it was about a foot in the open ground, two feet in the timber. I might take a drive Thursday, I'll post updated snow conditions then.

Looking out my window, I say it is snowing right now. Its still winter up there :'(

You must have a better view than me...lucky. The best view I get all day is from the fourth floor of the Psychology building at the school.
-
I think I must. The clouds just lifted and Reecer creek is white almost down to the valley floor. Just talked to a fellow, he was up in the Teanaway this morning and it stormed pretty good.
-
I havent made any calls over to the Colville area...... Are any of you guys there getting any white stuff ?
-
Just got done talking to my dad who has a friend that lives just out side of cle Elum and he had 13 inches of snow in is front yard!! :( Looks like we will be hunting turkey this year in the snow.
-
Its gonna be rough up here this year maybe. Access, and being able to move on birds, may be a little shoddy. May have to hunt the lower stuff toward Naneum/Kittitas
-
Same as last year even up towards Dickey creek was snowed in til late in the month....think I'll hunt Easterns for the first week or two.
-
Yep, may be an easier venture later in the season. The birds will still be here, without hens and unpressured... we can only hope.

Went for a drive up to the Middle fork today...It was flat out dumping snow!!! Unless it all melts in 14 days, gonna have to change plans!!
-
>:( That stinks :'( probably be mid may before we can get in there hope the birds faired well

You can't even get to the gravel on the Middle fork as of a couple days ago. They still had the berm up and a "snowmobiles only" sign. Bring your sled maybe :dunno:
