I'm not so sure that deer unit 75 and antelope unit 75 are the same. You might want to check that out.
deer and antelope units are different numbers that's why I said "near by" I think my deer unit was 34.

I just got back from Casper Monday, it is green, green, GREEN! Antelope are maximally scattered, horn growth looks good, numbers are a bit low but that's never a concern with antelope as long as you have the license. Not looking good for license quotas 2020 and 2021, as it looks like the May and June snows put a hurt on fawn survival.
Be sure to grab a milkshake at Yellowstone Drug in Shoshoni, they are legendary.

Lysite is a great area! If you don't mind a bit of driving, the BLM's Buffalo Creek Campground is a bit out of your area in the north end of 73 (Bighorn mountain rd, Natrona County rd 109) - great sheltered spot, free, with a good outhouse. Another option is Boysen State park on the west end of your area. Otherwise, anywhere you like on the BLM (just don't camp on state land, that's not allowed).

Thanks for the tips. Buffalo Creek is one of the campgrounds we were looking at. But (best I can tell) the shortest access to our area would be via Big Horn Trail from Big Horn Mountain road to the Oakie Trail. No one, so far, has been able to answer if you can drive the Big Horn Trail across all the private land or not.

Last I knew, which was in 2000, there was no legal public access that route. Even if there was, it would take twice as long to drive (very primitive, pioneered two track road with lots of gates) as going via the county roads (40mph no stops vs 5-10 with frequent stops). It is one gorgeous piece of elk habitat though.Lysite is a great area!
