I heard idaho non res deer tags were being sold out the last year or two. Does anybody know what date they were sold out by?
-
You can look on the Idaho fish and game website for updated tag quotas. I believe they’re still over 6k
-
I found on the website that all non resident deer and elk tags were sold out in september. So i guess if i get lucky and tag out in wa in september, i may be able to get an idaho deer tag.
-
Pretty sure that’s for 2018. 2019 still had tags left

6300 left

That’s good to hear.!!!
I have to wait and see if I get Montana Antelope first. If not Idaho Bound.
-
You got a little while before they sell out ...I was going to buy mine when I got over there and they sold out the night before we left :bash: I hunt the week before Thanksgiving for whitetail. With that being said I'll never wait again....I got mine a couple months ago and considering a second tag
-
I usually shoot for no later than the first of September.
-
Once the leftover NR tags avail after Aug 1 are available to Res and NR as a second they go pretty quickly last couple years.

Me too  I bet those Idaho tags start selling fast. I bought mine the night I didn't pull any SP Idaho tags.

Guys better hurry! There's only 5,100 left :chuckle:

I got burned last year thinking I could get one when I arrived in Idaho like I had the 2 years prior. Ended up watching a few nice bucks wander away. Bought mine with my elk tag in January this year. :chuckle:

Yeah yeah, pick on the guy that got to watch 4 points walk away last year. I'm an all in kind of guy, thats why i'm a terrible poker player... and rifle owner.

I think I'm going to buy a 2nd tag this year. Good crop of white tail and mulies this year.

Ya i believe everything I seen on fish and wildife websites.............especially WDFW. I do think Idaho has their stuff together compared to our liberal department. Best thing WDFW could do is move their HQ out of Olympia. :chuckle:

What I'm saying is when there are 5,000 tags left a guy doesnt need to freak out and buy a tag before he is ready and knows his schedule. When you get weekly updated quota numbers you can sit back if need be and if they start to dip low then snag one up
