Title: Blue Birds

Post by: clindsayrun on April 02, 2009, 06:11:34 PM: That's funny that this post came up as I was just talking to my wife about bluebirds. We've seen several Western Bluebirds in the last few days and I saw two Mountain Bluebirds today and was just telling her about it.

I guess it's that time of year.

Post by: popeshawnpaul on April 02, 2009, 07:12:51 PM: I never shoot them specifically but always shoot them as a target of opportunity when I get the chance. I was looking at my bluebird folder the other day and it has gotten quite large. I think one of the ones in my set is a scrub blue jay...?

Since he's sitting by a flowering rabbitbrush, pretty much has to be a western scrub jay.
