Title: Caribou Hunt, the search begins again
Post by: Machias on July 26, 2019, 10:24:07 PM: Want to go back to Alaska for another caribou hunt in 2020. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Probably drop camp, prefer airplane drop, but open to all ideas.

Now would not be too soon to see what dates they have open for 2020. They're probably starting to get busy right now for this season. Have fun.

Yep, 1 Dec for the following year! I'm really liking the looks of the float hunts they have. I could drive up with my own raft, seems very affordable.

I'll keep everyone posted on what I find out there!

Post by: AlaskaHunter18 on August 19, 2019, 08:58:11 PM: Look at Deadhorse Outfitters up by Prudhoe Bay, They are a fairly new Outfitter great operation and great group of guys. They transport by airboat instead of plane.

They had a blast, saw a good amount of game and enjoyed every minute. He's trying to plan a trip with me for two years from now to go back, that's about as good an endorsement I can think of.
