I thought you might appreciate seeing this. The Army's Training Center gym was renamed in honor of Aaron Blanchard, a former Hunt-Washington member who died serving his country. :salute:

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Never met him, but as for his sacrifice I am forever grateful!

Thanks for posting Bob. Every time I see that sign I have to laugh a little. This is the second gym named after Aaron and I am fairly positive that Aaron never willing stepped into a gym in his life :chuckle:

That is awesome, was amazing how this community rallied behind the family, it would be cool if we could get an update on how the family he left behind is doing now.

Way cool. I recall a post by his brother about the bull elk hunt last year (or two years ago?) that was quite moving. I had to go search for other posts about him.

What an awesome tribute!
