On our way home from camping on Sept 2, I had a coughing attack and passed out at the wheel. When I came to, I was able to get my kids out, but tragically I was unable to get my wife out before the truck was fully engulfed. Lost the love of my life, my High school sweetheart, mother of my 8 and 10 year olds, and wife of 13 years. Trying to fight through and get back to some sense of normalcy with my kiddos. I am going to replace a bunch of the gear I lost in the accident and was wondering if anyone had any tips on the best place to buy Swarovski Optics? Im looking to replace my SLC 15x56 binos and my 20-60x80 HD spotter. They burned up in the truck. I originally bought my stuff local, but just wondering if there was somewhere better that anyone knew of. Thank You

My advice would be to surround yourself with loved ones and try to be as solid as possible for the kids. Here’s where I bought my spotting scope( online).

I would suggest making a claim under your homeowner's or renter's insurance. Items that are not part of the truck might be covered. The claims people have access to replacement vendors that might be able to assist you.

I can not imagine how badly you must feel over the loss of the love of your life and the mother of your three children. That said, forget about the binos and get yourself and the children to a grief counselor. Trying to move on in a two week span is way too soon and it is better to grieve now then later. Those kiddos are going to need all of the help and support that they can get and you are not ready to provide the help they will need. Do it for them if not for yourself. This is not meant to offend you but I believe you are still in shock over the sudden loss of your wife. I am truly sorry for your loss.

You're at the beginning of a long process, take it slow and stay super close to those kids.
Rest in peace Ma'am.
