:hello: Looking to see if there's any folks hunting upland birds from the Seattle area? I've really been wanting to find other bird hunters in the area, and after my truck broke down grouse opening day, the fires been lit and I'm sitting right over it.
Anyone here getting after birds and based in the Seattle area? Obviously I'd love to be able to get out this season, but am happy to get to talk bird hunting...I have yet to meet another Seattle bird hunter!

My biggest problem is just finding time to get out. I work in downtown Seattle. I'd be up to meet up. PM me.

I'm heading to Mason County this weekend for my first grouse hunt of the year. I'll be mudding up my new layout blind for the waterfowl season and sighting in my rifle for deer season, so it's a multipurpose trip. I cleaned out my deep freezer last weekend and made a big batch of duck/goose jerky to make room for 2019/2020 season. My chocolate lab caught wind of duck and has been giving me that look all week so he's looking forward getting out this weekend as well. Seattle area hunters exist, but I wouldn't call myself an upland hunter. The weekends between coho fishing season and deer/duck season, I try to give to the wife, but grouse always find their way in there.

I'm in Seattle. Been out twice with my English Cocker for grouse this year. Did alright the first day up in Whatcom County.
