I have had this Benelli nova for about 3 years now and have never had a problem with it up until last week. I was out shooting and it wasnt feeding a new round into the chamber when cocked back. My carrier that lifts the shells into the chamber from the tube is limp. After you fire the gun the carrier is supposed to click up and shove the new shell up to be cocked into the chamber. I have seen problems where the carrier stays up and ejects the new shell out the bottom of the gun, mine isn't doing that, the new shell just gets stuck under the bolt as I pull it back. Like I said the carrier wont click up or down, you can move it up and down with your finger. The gun has no problem firing and ejecting the spent shell. I hope I explained it well enough for you guys to understand what going on. I can buy a whole new trigger assembly for around 130 bucks but Id rather find the part I need and learn a little more about my gun. I was just wondering if there was anyone on here that is more familiar with how shotguns work than me, or that has had this problem with theirs before.
