Are lakes still open for trout fishing?
-
Many many lakes are open for trout fishing year round. Just look on WDFW website. You can find lakes in your area and it will tell you what species are in the lakes and generally how good the fishing is for each species each month of the year.

Which ones are you interested in
-
there are a lot of lakes open year round.. As mentioned, just look up the lake/lakes your are interested in and it will say right there.

We are remodling a house on lake Erie by Anacortes. We will be here about three months and it looks like a good lake to fish. If it is open i will pick.up a license and give it a try.

Most lakes if not open year around will usually be open until Halloween. :twocents:
