Title: Game reserves?
Post by: DIYARCHERYJUNKIE on November 05, 2019, 01:33:25 PM
Confused on the game reserves and location of them. Specifically the PH out of ML. Any info on where I can get a map that shows the closed game reserve areas?

Not quite what you asked for, but here are the legal descriptions of all the game reserves.  Maybe call WDFW Region 2 office in Ephrata, they may have maps they can send a link or email an attachment for Potholes.

Thanks   I found the township maps that show the specific blocks  :dunno: they are referring to in the discriptions. So it makes sense now and is easy to avoid. The department did say they would send an email w the maps but never did...

I'm pretty sure there are maps on the federal refuge site. Same place as mcnary and ringold/hanford maps. They call them tear sheets.

Here they are for the Washington/Oregon border area. https://www.fws.gov/mcriver/regulations.html

I know they've got them for PH too but they're kind of a pain to find.

https://www.fws.gov/refuge/Columbia/Visit/Rules_Regulations.html

Bottom of this page has links to PH tear sheet and the page for the mid Columbia complex info as well.

I just print them all off every year and leave them in the truck with my pamphlets.
